Day 3 at Disneyworld

Today was Jerrod's day to golf at Disney so the kids and I were on our own. They really wanted to go ride Toy Story Mania at Hollywood Studios and I wasn't arguing. That is my all time favorite ride and I'll wait in any line for it!!
We went straight for the ride once we entered the park, but it was down for "technical difficulties". Next door to the ride is a "photo op" with all the Toy Story characters. We decided to give it a try since Teague has decided that Buzz Lightyear is his favorite character. He calls him, "To infinity and beyond"....but it's more like..."to enfentee ah beyaww". We know what he is saying and it is so cute to hear him try to call out his name and even cuter that he has finally discovered something other than family that he adores. It took us about 35 minutes to get through the line and when we got there Buzz was gone! I still got a picture of Teague with the "green army man" and Woody, but he wanted nothing more than to just stare at them...from a distance. He wasn't having ANY photos taken without me or Bailey. We just did the best we could. While you wait to see the characters, there are all kinds of props for the kids to pose in for pictures. Of course, Emma continued to want to take pictures at every moment. After the picture taking was over, we went back over to the ride and it was finally working. The wait was 40 minutes (can be MUCH longer) so we decided that this may be our chance to ride the ride. The hallway to the ride is just as much fun to go through- Disney does such a good job with EVERYTHING!!Here we are on the ride:
After the wait for pictures, the wait for the ride and the ride itself, Teague was DONE! We headed back to the hotel and met Jerrod after his golf game. I laid Teague down for a nap and Jerrod took the older kids to swim so that the room could be quiet. Once he woke up, we had reservations at Hollywood Studios "Prime Time Cafe".

The waitresses are "babysitters" and welcome you "home" for dinner. It has the resemblance of the Happy Days kitchen with everyone acting old fashioned and black and white tv's everywhere. Once we were seated, we were reminded about all the rules like no eating with your mouth open, eat all the veggies, and no elbows on the table. The food is actually very good and we enjoyed our dinner. (Teague has discovered his nose and how to put his finger in it- the kids are having so much fun laughing at it!).
AND then, after dinner we went to see Fantasmic. It is fantastic and only shown on Sundays and Thursday so this would be our last chance to see it. We didn't want to miss it so it ended up being a late night where everyone almost fell asleep on the bus from show back to the hotel. Here we are waiting for it to start:
Great effects like fireworks, water works and fabulous music make this a hit- even with Teague. Once again, he shocked us with his attentiveness! He didn't move the entire 30 minutes!!

Another great day today and more tomorrow...
