Nicole went ALL out AGAIN!!

This morning, Jackson was invited to a neighbor's house for a birthday party. Our neighbors throw a serious party and Nicole Hawker is a fabulous birthday party planner. She should start a business...I am serious. Jerrod even says that she throws awesome parties for her kids and they are always "home" parties.

She will usually draw
and cut out characters out of foam (and paint them) and place them around her house (Kendall's Monster, Inc. party had Sully and Mike) and for Kannon's 2nd birthday she had a Thomas the Tank Engine standing tall and even had a "train track" running through her house(she TAPED a train track all through her house, I know!). She knows how to throw a party. So, Kannon's 3 rd birthday party was no different. She had a cut out of Luke Skywalker (and another that I can't recall right now) like usual, but she and William were dressed up too. She was Princess Lei and William was a Jedi trainer. When we first got there, Jackson was a little shy just from seeing them all dressed up.

The party got started with a pinata of Darth Vader's helmet. I think the kids used a light saber to
hit it...how original!! Then, they went onto Jedi training. Nicole got her mom to make a Jedi cape for each of the guests so they were definitely in character and she even gave each of them their VERY OWN light saber. William spent time "training" everyone and THEN guess who shows up???!! Darth Vader himself!! Our neighbor, Jason, came dressed as Darth and even talked like him and used all that Star Wars lingo. You should have seen Jackson's face... He got all serious and then, they all went up to take turns fighting Darth. Jackson was a bit scared at first, but he mustered up the courage to step in front of him and challenge him. It was so cute!!!

Jerrod stayed home with the other kids while I took Jackson. It was so fun to go with him to the party because I got to see his facial expressions and everything- no chasing the little one!! He has such a good imagination and you could really see inside his mind- he thought it was real. So super special.Jackson fighting...so serious!Do you see the Jedi trainer?? Awesome, huh?? Happy 3rd Birthday Kannon! OH, and check out Jenn's pictures too. She has a ton more than I do!!
